YE Leader Val Heron is solving a knotty problem

we are going to make applique felt cushions like this one

first we cut out the felt squares and arranged them to form the background

then we overlapped each square and tacked the squares together in rows

next we joined each row of squares together with tacking stitch

backgroung is stitched. Next step is to add the flowers after the tacking stitches have been removed
