I would very much like to get involved with this charity but cannot find any information about organisations in the north east. Would you be able to provide any details for me to contact please before I get started?
I too have been making teddies and although only one is nearly finished I still have wool and stuffing so please could you email me an address in the UK I can send them to so I can use it up? Thank you – Myra
I have about 20 teddies ready for posting, but my usual contact is no longer collecting them. Would you be able to suggest a new contact, e.g. yourselves? I live in South Manchester but am willing to post the teddies anywhere in the UK if necessary. It seems such a shame to have them here when they could be comforting a child somewhere!
I did try the Teddies for Tragedies website as many people suggested on Google, but they closed the site down a couple of years ago due to a possible virus and don’t seem to have re-established it yet.
Your help and advice would be most appreciated. Many thanks!
Hello Freda, We are always willing to accept deliveries of Teddies and pass them on. I will email you with an address to which you may post them. Thank you for your generosity,
Hilary

Yet another wonderful workshop day was enjoyed by all those who attended the Golden Hinde or Nue Gold work embroidery class .We were very fortunate to have two such skilled tutors ,Sarah and her mum .
The class was well attended and we were a rowdy bunch to begin with but once Sarah started to demonstrate her technique on how to achieve the work she and her mum had produced, a hush fell upon the room, we were all intriged .
They had on display a wide variety of their work and ideas of how to embelish using Jap Gold .
They gave everyone encouragement useful tips and plenty of patience .
At the end of the session we were all able to achieve and produce our own peice of couched gold thread embroidery .Thank you again Sarah and Mum
To all organisers of the March 19th meeting
This entailed our usual friendly chatter and sewing ,lots to see and talk about .
After lunch we had an amazing afternoon with a guest speaker ,Rachel Howard .

I am an interested beginner hoping to learn embroidery and other skills. Many thanks Anne.

Many of the group are socially minded and The Sreepur Village story would be of interest to them. Please can you provide me with dates of when you are available any time between May 2015 to April 2016 and also information on your costs of giving a talk. Looking forward to hearing from you

Price for Goldwork varies depending on supplier. The moral is shop around!
The YE piece looks very exciting, so many different methods and media. Can’t wait to see the finished picture. Will there be monsters?
You will have to wait and see the progression over the next two months.
Great to see the link to Empress Mills. More of a similar nature please. So much easier to shop until my finger drops!
