Calico Garden Embroidery with Liz Almond
A complete change of mood for this workshop. Today we will be experimenting with hand embroidery in neutral colours, but lots of texture. Liz’s class will be a follow-on from the Practical Stitching Day last year, but feel free to join in as an experimental day. These days are always calm, but now the colours match the mood!
Cost: £20 for members (25 for visitors), plus £8 for kit.
Requirements:
small embroidery ring;
HB pencil or waterproof marker;
needles in assorted sizes (some supplied in kit);
cream,light brown, taupe or beige threads in assorted thicknesses;
scissors; lights and lenses and, if required; patience!
