Sophie Forse was a member of Merseyside Young Embroiderers’ for 10 years, and still comes to visit MEG events where she runs the Make & Take activity at our parties.
After Sophie left school she went on to the Arts centre, City of Liverpool College, Myrtle St, L7 7JA where she has just completed her Foundation course in Fashion design. She hopes to go on to John Moore’s University, Liverpool to do B.A,(Hons) Fashion Design.
Sophie says-
My project has a theme of “Historical” with a focus on Tudor history. The pieces are inspired by research into techniques used in garments in the Tudor period and styles that were popular in the Tudor period.
