Sporting Nations “Design a Poster” competition
The Embrioderers’ Guild held a competition in 2012 to design an Olympic Postcard Exhibitions Poster, which will be displayed along with the Olympic postcards as they tour the country.
The title of the poster is “Threads Connecting the Olympic Nations- an Embroiderers’ Guild Tribute”.
Janet Wilkinson, one of our members, entered this competition and was voted one of two Joint Winners. The two winning posters will be combined in a final design which will be featured in a future issue of Contact or Material Matters.
