“Everything Has Its Own Time ” exhibition by Nikki Parmenter

Nikki Parmenter is a Cheshire-based artist, a former art teacher and Head of Art, who has spent several years working to produce the work on show. Her inspiration is drawn from a wide variety of sources: Indian, mediaeval, mythology, almost as diverse as the materials used. They are colourful, exuberant, irreverent and are all in their very different ways examples of how her imagination will find a way to create what she conjures in her mind. Much of her recent work has been inspired by the Williamson’s Della Robbia Pottery collection and the title of the exhibition is to be found on the Della Robbia lidded jar from a private collection.
